Since its’ existence, Ethiopia has for many a times balanced between poverty and propaganda. From the famines of the early 70’s along the northern Eritrean border to the armed transition of the Haile Selassie kingdom and the Mengistu dictatorship, rarely has this mighty independent land been sheltered from outside criticism. And despite the stature of its’ capital, Addis Ababa the vibrant hub of the african union, the world still looks to Abyssinia has a solution to a quarreling Africa.
My story is a different one...hardship, honor and beauty.
